Macedonian Ministries is a Christian organization operating under the lordship of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is under the headship and authority of GBC. It is organized to promote missionary enterprise inside GBC as well as outside its walls. It will be governed by the Missions Committee of GBC. Its purpose is to alleviate human suffering and hardship anywhere, anytime, to anyone, and in any way. We plan to do this by conducting informative Bible Conferences, Evangelistic Services, coordinating professional work teams, provide leadership for national churches, and raising funds for church/school meal programs in third-world countries. We will seek to procure parts and equipment for essential ministries.
Why Does Macedonian Ministries Exist?
The National Church in "third-world countries" is in desperate need of assistance. If it is to survive and continue to function, it needs the assistance of churches in America. This conclusion has been reached after intense studies and as we have seen the need first-hand by extensive travel throughout the world. Bible Teaching and Evangelism Seminars held with National Pastors and Christian Workers, have amplified the reality of need for assistance of all kinds. Our scriptural mandate is "Come over... and help us." Acts 16:9
Where Will Macedonian Ministries Operate?
We will work wherever we are invited and with whoever invites us to assist them. We will server in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ wherever we are needed.
How Will Macedonian Ministries Operate?
Financially, "we will ask God to tell His people." We will enlist Supporting Partners to assist in Macedonian Ministries' projects. They will also constitute our resource pool for work projects and work teams. All work teams, regardless of their activity, will be required to raise their own support. Because the needs are so great, we will go outside GBC for financial support. Total financial accountability will be provided to the Board of Elders of the GBC. We will not incur any debt. Macedonian Ministries is a tax-exempt organization through virtue of its relationship with GBC.
